The tuberculin PPD test, sometimes known as a Mantoux test, is used to test for exposure to tuberculosis, or to see if past immunisation with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) remains effective. It is may also be used as part of the investigation of sarcoidosis.

- This is a new entry, replacing the previous entries for the Heaf test (now discontinued) and the Mantoux test.
