Obligatory

Must not donate if:

1. Symptomatic.
2. Associated with an inherited haemolytic anaemia (e.g. spherocytosis).

Discretionary

If recovered from symptomatic disease, or has asymptomatic gallstones not associated with an inherited haemolytic anaemia, accept.
