Discretionary
  1. All tissues:
    1. If carried out in the UK after 1992, providing the reason for the surgery is not itself a reason for exclusion, accept.
    2. If burr hole surgery only, accept.
    3. If it can be shown that dura mater was not used during surgery and there is no evidence of malignancy (donors with non-metastising primary tumours of the central nervous system may be accepted), the donor may be accepted by a Designated Clinical Support Officer.
