- All tissues:
- If carried out in the UK after 1992, providing the reason for the surgery is not itself a reason for exclusion, accept.
- If burr hole surgery only, accept.
- If it can be shown that dura mater was not used during surgery and there is no evidence of malignancy (donors with non-metastising primary tumours of the central nervous system may be accepted), the donor may be accepted by a Designated Clinical Support Officer.
