Geographical Disease Risk Index
The Geographical Disease Risk Index (GDRI) forms a constituent part of chapter 3, chapter 20 and chapter 22 of the Guidelines for the Blood Transfusion and Tissue Transplantation Services in the UK.
It is for the assessment of travel-related risks for the donation of blood, tissues and cells, and is for healthcare professionals trained in its use.
